Our European Tour is complete. We kept a steady blog going at outsideoftheletter.blogspot.com that will fill you in on some of it. This winter we will be taking time off from live shows and focusing exclusively on our new record. We will, however, be playing one show in the Boston area on December 30 at the Middle East Downstairs with our comrades in Constants and Junius. This show is always our favorite of the year, and this time looks to be the best yet. You can grab tickets at ticketmaster.com for it already. Get 'em quick! Check the blog above for updates from the studio, as well as whatever else happens surrounding the process of recording this time around. We are committed like never before to make the best album we are capable of this winter and are excited to finally start recording material again after almost 2 years of recording hibernation! Shows have been confirmed. Plane tickets have been purchased. Pedal boards have been improved. The wait continues, but only for 1 more week. Warm greetings from a picture perfect day here on the Atlantic Ocean in Beverly. The European dates for October are almost complete and should be posted here shortly. Please visit our label overseas at www.makemydayrecords.de . Jorg and crew are working hard to push "The Four Trees" over there and we extend many thanks to them all! We are getting very close to finishing writing our new record and plans are being hatched to record before the end of the year. With who and where it gets recorded will be announced later this summer and you will want to check back since the answer has us excited like never before to get working on it. Greetings ~ SXSW: Woah. That thing is out of control. Thanks to all who came and supported. We had some amazing times and hope to make it back in 2009. Our good friend Andrew Weiss took some incredible photographs and posted them over at www.andrew-weiss.com. Check them out - his stuff is mind blowing. Back here in Massachusetts its a lot drearier and colder, but we press on towards spring just the same. Some BIG NEWS: Make My Records in Germany (Cancer Conspiracy, Junius) will be giving "The Four Trees" an official European release this August complete with exclusive new packaging!! To support the release, we will be touring the continent in mid-September for almost 5 weeks! Countries so far on the route include Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Poland, Belgium, The Netherlands and Switzerland. This is, obviously, going to be pretty epic, and there will be TONS more news on this as the spring and summer develop. We're happy this is finally becoming a reality and we can't wait to bring this thing overseas. We're still writing too and planning on recording before the year is out and getting the next record to you as soon as possible. As promised, 2008 is looking like the busiest yet. Just how we like it.

Happy New Year Friends. 2008 looks to be as busy as 2007 and maybe then some. Top of the list is a tour down to our first appearance at SXSW in Austin this March and the release of new Caspian material. Take a look at the current lineup for the March 16 show at SXSW and you'll see that this is going to be nothing short of incredible. We will also be contributing a brand new song for a split release with local space rock friends Constants due out this March on local Boston imprint Radar Recordings. The release is going to be a vinyl/iTunes only deal and more information will be coming on this as it develops. We will be devoting January/February to recording, continuing writing and preparing for shows. There is a lot to be excited about this year and as always, we thank you for your support and commitment to our band. It's very much appreciated. Mount up for another year alive and have the best one yet.
